برای تنظیم شدت و رنگ نور این دستگاه می توان از دو دیمری که روی پنل جلوی دستگاه رینگ لایت تعبیه شده استفاده کرد، با چرخاندن یک دیمر رنگ و حالت نور تغییر می کند و با چرخاندن دیمر دیگر می توان شدت تابش نور را کم و زیاد کرد.
این رینگ که پخش جانبی گناوه استار به شما معرفی کرده امکان چرخش ۳۶۰ درجه و استفاده مستقیم از دوربین بر روی حلقه نور توسط نگهدارنده داخلی خود و هم چنین استفاده از ۳ موبایل به طور همزمان را به هنگام عکس برداری به شما می دهد. پشت دستگاه رینگ لایت یک دکمه پاور برای خاموش و روشن کردن دستگاه وجود دارد. پشت دستگاه یک پورت USB برای شارژ گوشی موبایل درحین عکاسی وجود دارد.
